Alberto A. Gómez MD graduated in medicine from the University of California at San Diego in 1974. He completed his internship and residency in surgery at Mt. Zion Hospital in San Francisco.
Later, he served as director of the Emergency department of St Francis Hospital in San Francisco.
He has worked for more than 30 years offering medical services to Hispanic patients through its network of Meridian Medical Group clinics in Northern California in San Jose, San Francisco, Manteca. Currently, he develops a national low-cost health plan for patients without health insurance in the United States.
Dr. Gómez is the head doctor of the San José clinic and the President and CEO of Strategic Healthcare System.
